Although this is shaping up to be an Outstanding October, I?m still recouping from a Super Sassy September which featured a series of fabulous events that were by far the most fun I?ve had in a long time. Let?s see? there was Fashion?s Night Out, grand opening events at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, several movie premiers, a few BFF Tweetup?s with my Blog Fab Fashionistas, the launch of my BFF website? Wheeeew! Needless to say I?d been VERY busy and in desperate need of a bit of pampering. So when I heard about an amazing event being hosted by PrettyCity.com that featured beauty product samplings, on-site makeovers, complimentary spa and salon treatments, AND shopping? I thought hmmm, this is just the fix I need to rejuvenate myself.
If?you?ve?never heard of Pretty City, well let?s just say that you?re missing out on an amazing experience. PrettyCity.com is a beauty, leisure and wellness website devoted to making women everywhere prettier in some small way and richer in many big ways; by saving them money on the products and services they need to look and feel their best. The site boasts a comprehensive database of the country?s top spas, salons medspas and more including editorial reviews, reader reviews and service discounts plus product reviews, beauty trend stories and more. Pretty City also travels the country hosting a series of exclusive events that celebrate all things beauty. Attendees of these fabulous events are exposed to familiar products and brands while also discovering new products to make their daily lives more beautiful.
The uber-chic Tongue & Groove lounge served as the backdrop as Pretty City partnered with SHAPE Magazine to bring their Livebeautifully campaign to Atlanta for a ?Girl?s Night Out? unlike any other. Guests were greeted with complimentary sips from Naked Grape as well as yummy appetizers from Tongue & Groove. Attendees enjoyed sweet treats at the Pretty Sweet candy buffet, pampering stations complete with facials, massages, complimentary dry styling, mini makeovers, polish changes, discounts from participating vendors. And if that?wasn?t?enough there were also several fabulous giveaways and prizes. Guests also enjoyed complimentary face mapping skin analyses, product samples and savings from Dermalogica as well as sampling OurSkinny shakes and diet bars.
Top beauty experts from the best beauty, style and wellness brands were also in house to pamper and primp guests throughout the event including Authentic Beauty, Bob Steele Salon, Che?s Hair Salon, D?Lor Salon & Spa, Dance 411 Studio, Elaine Sterling Institute, Golden Sol, American Laser Skincare, Gwynnis Mosby, Jamison Shaw, Lamaj De?Amor Traveling Boutique, Silpada, Sol Oasis, Solar Dimensions, Soul Purpose, Stella & Dot, Tonnae Nicole, Urban Tangles and Premier Spa and Wellness.
Unfortunately I?didn?t?get a chance to take advantage of all of the services available because I had a night out on the town scheduled later that eve, but I did manage to squeeze in a few hand treatments, a chair massage, a polish change (or two), and a complimentary dry styling. Now that I?m feeling pretty, oh so pretty, I?m ready for the city tonight? (I?ve?always wanted to sing that tune. 
)
Upon leaving we were each presented with a fabulous swag bag that was literally brimming with?girly?goodies. Now,?I?ve?seen a few goodie bags in my day, but never had I become speechless at the sight of the contents. ?This baby contained full size products of ZuZu Luxe Cream Brow Pencil, Pureology Super Smooth Conditioner, Terra Dolce Lavender Green Tea soap, Glytone Daily Lotion, Emani Minerals blush, TheraPearl Hot & Cold Pack, and discounts coupons from Jamison Shaw, Bob Steele, Elaine Sterling Institute, and American Laser Skincare. Wow!!!
