I've long believed it will happen in the US too.??Europe, in just a couple of generations, has moved from entirely religious to almost completely secular.??In Italy, just a couple generations ago, couples were required chaperones like Michael Corleone experienced in the Godfather and today it's one of the least sexually repressed countries on the planet, with religion turning into a mere cultural symbol.??France has been secular for several generations now and northern Europe even more so.
There is no reason such a fast change can't take place in the US either as new generations replace the older generation, which is now clinging to its faith as firmly as a dying man futiliy clings to his gun.
